007

I enjoy a good thriller but I've never been a huge fan of bond movies. The script is too chauvinistic. Not that I've anything against half-naked buff guys and girls in bikinis, but it seems too centred around these things that I can guess when Bond will strip or when the femme fatale will enter with her seduction skills. But no matter.
I'm still pretty intrigued by this 007 themed hotel that pays homage to Bond.

It is a pity that no femme fatale or a Bond look alike is included. It'll seriously up the excitement of this hotel by 5 levels.

New Hotel Wonders

I cannot think of a name more apt for this hotel.

Seriously.

The name itself evokes delicious imagery within the depths of my mind, perfectly complemented by the scenery that surrounds this lovely hotel.

I humbly present, Hotel Chocolat.

Luxe Lodges - Bedroom

Saint Lucia is one of the stunning jewels of the Eastern Caribbean, situated between Martinique to the north and Saint Vincent to the South. Boucan Hotel & Restaurant is nestled in the beautiful grounds of Rabot Estate, the island's oldest working cocoa plantation, in the south west of the island, close to the old capital, Soufriere.

It is unfortunately, slightly pricey.
Rack rates for its lodges start from USD$350-440, and for luxe lodges from USD$550-650 per night.

Guess I'd have to just settle for feasting my eyes on these pictures then.

Childhood Memories

I love carousels.

It may not be my favorite amusement ride but I still love the sight of it, love to ride on it.

However, why is it so expensive to sit in a relatively decent sized carousel where I live?

I really envy those living close to these gorgeous carousels.

I am once again reminded how life is never fair.

Hotel Wonders

While I was looking at pictures of hotels around the globe, this caught my eye.

Axis Viana Hotel, Viana do Castelo, Portugal

The exterior is made up of reflective aluminum, black glass, and green stone, and the cantilevered design changes the shape of the hotel depending upon your vantage point, edged by an outdoor pool with views of the Lima River and Mount St. Luzia.

The rooms however, doesn't particularly appeal to me.

Leveraging on the interesting sliding and dimensional effect of the building would be way more exciting. At least, for me.

I'm watching you, thief.

Although I'm not a fan of smileys, emoticons and the like, I think that this is totally great! Especially when someone attempts to steal your bag.

I'm watching.

Taking a Trip

Someday, I will visit this place. Living art.

The TahuamanĂș Rainforest in Peru.

Apparently the parrots and macaws above are feeding off the world's largest salt lick.
